Building on the success of DiceBot, the ULTIMATE IRC trivia 'bot I decided to look at web based trivia. After looking at a lot of sites, and a lot of the scripts I decided that they were all limiting, I couldn't find one that WASN'T multi-choice or a simple yes/no, so I decided to write one. The results are here for all to see! I think it's the best trivia script on the web, but if you know of a better script, or a site with a bigger question list LET ME KNOW!

Trivia Goes Mobile

The web version seemed to spark something in a lot of people and before long I decided to expand the scope of the quiz to try and reach as many people as possible.  Third method of delivery chosen was WAP as:

1) It was fairly similar to the web version.
2) I got a new phone with a WAP browser!

Just a change of scripting to use WML instead of HTML and I'd another way to get my trivia fix!

Trivia on your PDA/Pocket PC

Thanks to the people at AvantGo there is now another way to get your fix just check out the PDA page and get trivia delivered to your pocket!  I've received many e-mails from people who say that this stopped Meeting Boredom as they will grab a set of questions and use them in meetings and everyone thinks they are taking notes!  I've even had one person that has a GSM modem in her iPaq and will check and get new questions in the middle of meetings!  A true Trivia Addict!
